About Dr. Jessica Rubin

Dr. Jessica Rubin grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland and graduated from the Honors and Gemstone programs at the University of Maryland, College Park, Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in History. She was awarded a Recruitment Scholarship and a State Senatorial Scholarship to the University of Maryland Dental School, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2005. Following dental school, Dr. Jessica completed a residency in general dentistry at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and a pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Maryland Dental School. In addition to private practice, Dr. Jessica is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Georgetown Univesity Medical Center and served for five years as an attending in the Department of Dentistry at Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. Jessica lives with her husband and three young children in Washington DC. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, reading, traveling, hiking, and kayaking.

About Dr. Erica Caffrey

Dr. Erica Caffrey has always loved working with children and is deeply committed to the health of her patients.  She knows that early positive experiences at the dentist can set the foundation for a lifetime of oral health, and she strives to make every child feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair.

Dr. Caffrey received her B.A. and Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University.  She then completed a two-year post-graduate residency in pediatric dentistry at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. before beginning her career in private practice.  Dr. Caffrey has extensive training in hospital dentistry as well as working with children with special needs. In addition to her time in private practice, Dr. Caffrey is an attending faculty member at Children’s National.  She is a board-certified pediatric dentist and currently serves on the Examination Committee for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  Her additional leadership roles include the position of Secretary/Treasurer of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s D.C. chapter and as a consultant to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s Council for Clinical Affairs.

Dr. Caffrey lives in Kensington, Maryland with her husband Seth, son Julian and poodle Annie.  They are excited to welcome baby #2 this fall!  Prior to dental school, Dr. Caffrey studied classical flute performance and can still be found playing music every now and then. She enjoys vegetarian dining, exploring the arts in D.C. and traveling when possible.
